On Wednesday, the Brooklyn Nets officially announced that the team will be wearing their early 1990s tie-dye throwback uniform next season.
The Nets’ first Classic Edition uniform features a sky blue-to-white gradient that runs through the jersey and shorts, with the retro “Nets” wordmark across the chest in red. Red and white trim complete the classic look.
The then-New Jersey Nets wore the uniform for only one season during the 1990-91 season.
As a “Classic Edition” uniform, this look will only be around for one season (just like the original). It is unknown at this time how many games the Nets will wear the uniform next season.
