Marquette unveils new basketball uniform

After being leaked by the players during photo day, the Marquette men’s basketball program officially unveiled their new uniform on Sunday evening.

The gold uniform features “Marquette” across the chest in a script font, which many pointed out is similar to the Milwaukee Tool logo. The numbers use a beveled gothic-esque block font. On the shoulders are angled championship blue and navy stripes, with the shorts using the same design on the front. On the back of the collar is a silver tab with Marquette’s logo signifying the school’s appearance in a Final Four while with Nike/Jordan Brand. Inside is the back of the jersey at the bottom is the program’s motto “Win Every Day”. A large MU logo appears on the side of the right leg. Lastly, on the front of the waistband is “AL” in honor of hall of fame coach Al McGuire. The “AL” monogram was previously placed at the bottom of the collar.

While Marquette only showed off their new gold uniforms, the team will also wear navy, championship blue (light blue), white, black and Nike N7 turquoise versions of the uniform.
