Mississippi State football unveils blackout uniform

On Thursday, the Mississippi State Bulldogs football team unveiled their new blackout uniform and first black helmet in program history.

The matte black helmet features a silver “M-State” decal on each side and a silver facemask. The back bumper reads “Bulldogs” in silver.

The all-black look continues with the jersey where the chest has a Mississippi State wordmark in reflective silver. The sleeve stripes and jersey numbers are also reflective silver. A reflective black and silver “M-State” logo was placed on the right hip of the black pants. Matching stripes run down the side of the pants.

To complete the blackout look the Bulldogs will have the option of wearing black gloves and other accessories.Β
