On Monday, the Indianapolis Colts showed off their updated logos and uniforms.
Starting with the new logos, the Colts introduced a brand new secondary logo that features a “C” with the state of Indiana in the middle and seven grommets, like the primary horseshoe logo. The team also shared their new wordmark that “incorporates some modern elements while embracing some of the design features from our traditional mark (old wordmark).”
Indianapolis’ new uniforms remain mostly the same, but there are four tweaks to the uniform. First, the jersey numbers were changed to honor the team’s uniforms from the 1950s and 1960s (when they were in Baltimore). Second, the new “C” secondary logo was added to the inside collar. Third, the wordmark decals on the front and back helmet bumpers were updated to the new wordmark. Lastly, on the white away jersey, the Nike swoosh on the sleeve was changed from Speed Blue to Anvil Black.
