Los Angeles Rams unveil new uniforms

On Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles Rams unveiled their new uniforms about seven weeks after they showed off their new logos.

The Rams introduced three uniform combinations, including a new off-white away uniform.

LA’s new royal blue home uniform features yellow horns on the sleeves and a “RAMS” patch on the left chest. The Rams’ jersey uses a new custom number font that’s based on the curvature of the horn in the logo. The numbers on the home jersey also use a gradient transitioning from yellow to white, which is meant to “honor the horn’s color evolution over time from white to yellow”. The royal blue jersey can be worn with yellow or royal blue pants. The yellow pants have a thick blue stripe with a thinner white stripe down the side, while the blue pants have a stripe with a yellow to white gradient like the numbers.

Los Angeles’ new away uniform utilizes a light gray color, which the Rams are calling “Bone”. According to the team, the “Bone” color “reflects the color of an actual Rams’ horn and the beaches of Los Angeles” and is used on both the jersey and pants. The “Bone” jersey has white horns on the sleeves with a thin yellow line and the stacked “LOS ANGELES RAMS” wordmark on the left chest. The same custom font is used on the away jersey but with blue numbers instead of the gradient. The pants have a thick white stripe and a thin yellow stripe down the sides. Blue or white socks can be worn with the “Bone” away uniform.

The inside collar of both jerseys features the Rams head logo, while the back of the collar has the “LA” logo.

LA’s helmet is royal blue with a metallic finish featuring a blue facemask and modern yellow horn decals.

The Rams’ new look comes as they move into the new state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium this season. LA will host the New Orleans Saint during week 1 of the preseason (date TBD) and the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 13 to start the regular season.

“SoFi Stadium is an iconic, transformative stadium that encouraged us to design uniforms as innovative as our new home,” said Los Angeles Rams COO Kevin Demoff. “Our new uniforms preserve the storied legacy of the Rams with the horns at the heart of the design, while introducing vibrant colors and groundbreaking materials. We are proud to unveil a modern look for our players to wear as we begin this exciting new era for the Los Angeles Rams.”
