On Thursday evening, the Brooklyn Nets unveiled their updated Notorious B.I.G. City Edition uniform.

Continuing to honor Biggie, the Nets’ 2019-20 City Edition uniform highlights his Brooklyn neighborhood, Bedford-Stuyvesant. “BED-STUY”, the informal name for the neighborhood, is written across the chest. What the Nets are calling the “Brooklyn Camo” pattern (Biggie Small’s Coogi sweater pattern) can be seen on the collar, armholes and running down the side panels of the uniform.

The “BED-STUY” mark was designed by Brooklyn artist Eric Haze, who also created elements for the team’s 2019-20 Statement Edition and 2018-19 City Edition uniforms.

The Nets will wear the uniform 28 times throughout the regular season. They will debut on Nov. 29 against the Boston Celtics.
