On Thursday, the Minnesota Timberwolves released their 2020-21 North Star City Edition uniform.
The new uniform, which pays homage to the North Star, has a midnight black base to reflect when the North Star shines brightest. Across the chest is “MINN” with the North Star in green above the abbreviation. A star constellation runs down the right side of the entire uniform. Aurora green is used throughout the trim to represent the hue of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
On the front of the waistband on the shorts is the state of Minnesota in green with the North Star on top of it. The Timberwolves logo is on side of the player’s left leg.
