The Indiana Pacers unveiled their latest Nike City Edition uniform for the upcoming season on Tuesday.
Indiana’s new uniform pays homage to the Pacers’ uniforms worn from 1997 to 2005 by featuring pinstripes on the uniform. This is the first time the Pacers have worn pinstripes on a uniform since 2013. Above the jock tag is the phrase “We Grow Basketball Here”. The uniform also draws inspiration from the Indiana state flag by using the flag’s royal blue color throughout the uniform. Additionally, on the front of the waistband of the shorts is a basketball infused torch emblem based on the torch on the state flag.
