On Saturday, the Washington Huskies football program announced that the team will wear their new DAWGS uniform today when they host Arizona.
The all-black Adidas Primeknit A1 uniform has white numbers outlined in purple. The sleeve caps on the jersey and lower area of the pants around the knees feature a two-color yarn to represent the color fade of a husky’s fur.
A anodized purple “W” decal is placed on each side of Washington’s matte black hemlet. While pixelated DAWG eyes appear on the palms of the gloves. To complete the look, the Huskies will wear custom UW cleats with a paw print emblazed on the cleat plate.
