The Detroit Pistons unveiled their new City Edition uniform on Friday that continue to pay homage to the Motor City.
Taking inspiration from vintage auto emblems, “Motor City Detroit, Michigan” wraps around the number on the front of the royal blue jersey. The Pistons logo on the sides of the shorts features a gear surrounding it. A ‘M1’ icon was placed on the front waistband of the shorts to represent Woodward Avenue. To complete the uniform, the red stripes that run down the sides of the uniform and that wrap around the legs feature a carbon fiber texture.
