On Thursday, the Denver Nuggets their latest City Edition uniform for the 2020-2021 NBA season. The new uniform will be the third and final City Edition uniform for the Nuggets to feature the rainbow skyline. The rainbow skyline alternate uniforms over the past couple of years paid homage to the Nuggets’ original rainbow skyline uniform worn during the 1980s.
The flatirons red uniform features an orange-yellow gradient that wraps around the jersey and a white mountain and a Denver skyline on the front. ‘Denver’ is written on the front of the uniform while ‘5280’ is above the jock tag as a reference to the city’s elevation.
On the shorts is the Nuggets basketball pickaxe logo on the front waistband. Each leg has ‘Nuggets’ on the side with a white mountain peak on top of a small gradient square.
