On Friday, the Ohio State Buckeyes men’s and women’s basketball programs unveiled new uniforms and for the first time, both programs will wear identical home and away uniforms as they enter the 2020-21 season.
Both new uniforms feature the Ohio State wordmark across the chest and the Buckeyes’ classic stripes down each side. On the back of the collar is a silver tab signifying each programs’ appearance in a Final Four while wearing Nike. Inside the bottom of the jersey is the phrase “Our Family, Our Program”. On the waistband of the shorts is a buckeye leaf, like the stickers worn on the football helmets.
For the first time in program history, the women’s team will have names on the back of the uniforms.
Including the new home and away uniforms, the men’s team will have six uniform options this season. The scarlet Clark Kellogg era throwback uniform worn the past two seasons and the gray Jim Jackson era throwback uniform worn during the last several seasons will join the new uniforms as well as two new alternates that are yet to be released.
