On Wednesday, the Washington Wizards brought back the “Stars & Stripes” uniform for their 2019-20 City Edition uniform. The last time the Wizards wore a similarly themed uniform was during the 2016-17 season (the NBA last with Adidas).Â
The biggest differences between this season’s City Edition uniform and the old Adidas uniform include:
- The side panels with the star and stripes were slightly updated
- “Washington” has been swapped out for the DC logo
- The numbers are now red, instead of blue
- Lastly, the Washington DC flag was added to the waistband
