T-Wolves introduce “Twin Cities” Edition uniform

On Wednesday, the Minnesota Timberwolves introduced their latest City Edition uniform. This season’s edition focuses on Minnesota’s Twin Cities.

On the front of the jersey are the letters “MSP”, an abbreviation for Minneapolis and St. Paul. The blue color of the uniform pays homage to the Mississippi River that divides but unites the Twin Cities. It also represents the span of the weather from the blue skies on a summer night to the ice blue of Minnesota’s winters. On the front waist of the shorts is the phrase “The Cities” on a literal representation of the map of Minneapolis and St. Paul.ย The stripe down the side of the jersey, that continues onto the shorts, represents the Mississippi River as it separates the last city of the East and the first city of the West.
