Brooklyn Nets unveil new Statement Edition uniform

On Thursday, the Brooklyn Nets unveiled their new Statement Edition uniform, which was created in collaboration with Brooklyn-based artist Eric Haze.

To match their new court, the concrete gray uniform features “BKLYN” across the chest, which was hand-drawn by Haze. The left side panel features a new take on the herringbone pattern with Haze’s signature stars on top. Haze’s stars are a modern take on the Nets’ throwback uniform.

“NETS” runs down the left side of the shorts, with the secondary logo on the right thigh.

Haze is one of the premier graphic designers/artists of the hip-hop movement. Haze has created iconic logos and album covers for artists including LL Cool J and The Beastie Boys. He also designed the *BED-STUY* mark on the jock tag of the Nets’ Notorious B.I.G. City Edition uniform.

The Nets will debut the new uniform at Barclays Center on Nov. 1 and will wear them for 22 games during the 2019-20 season.
