Oregon unveils new “Vapor Fusion” uniforms

On Saturday, the Oregon Ducks unveiled their latest football uniforms. The new uniforms remain very similar to last years new uniforms with the simple design and same number font (which is now on their field) but the new uniforms feature many changes.

Oregon will continue to have Oregon Green (apple green), yellow, and white uniforms like last season, but did not unveil a black uniform (yet). Instead, Oregon unveiled a new “Nightmare Green” (dark forest green) uniform. The Ducks will also wear two different white jerseys. One with apple green numbers and the other with iridescent dark green numbers.

The new uniforms are on Nike’s latest football uniform template, Vapor Fusion, which features more seams than the previous Vapor Untouchable template and a cowcatcher-like design on the collar.

Other changes to Oregon’s uniform include:

  • Nike’s swoosh logo being moved from the left chest area to collar
  • Oregon’s primary logo being added to the left chest area
  • The sizes of the numbers have been reduced
  • Reflective stripes have been added to the shoulders and sleeves
  • Returning to the regular nameplate color
  • Removal of “DUCKS” patch on the upper left chest.
