On Thursday, the Memphis Grizzlies unveiled two throwback uniforms to be worn during the next two seasons. To recognize the 25th season of the franchise, the Grizzles will wear the classic Vancouver teal uniforms on select games during the 2019-20 season. The following season, the Grizzlies will celebrate 20 years in Memphis by wearing the throwback uniforms on select games that replicate the 2001 black away uniforms.
In addition to the uniforms, the Grizzlies unveiled a new alternate court that incorporates elements from both the Vancouver and early Memphis eras. The Grizzlies will use this court on the nights they wear their new throwback uniforms over the next two seasons.
