CFL unveils New Era uniforms for 2019

Today, the Canadian Football League (CFL) officially unveiled the new 2019 team uniforms for each of their teams. The new uniforms are provided by New Era, who has taken over as the league’s official outfitter beginning this season. Adidas was the previous uniform supplier since 2016.

“We’re excited to see our New Era Official Canadian Football League uniforms take the field for the first time this weekend,” said Rick Baetz, Managing Director of Canada at New Era Cap. “This is an exciting moment for the brand as it will be the first time that New Era has ever created uniforms for a professional sports league in Canada and represents a shift to global leader in sports & lifestyle apparel.”

“In collaboration with New Era, we’ve worked to develop fresh, exciting looks to celebrate our star athletes and iconic Canadian teams,” said Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer Tyler Mazereeuw. “Fans will be excited to see the new product lines, sideline apparel and lifestyle gear that New Era has lined up for CFL fans this season and throughout the future.”

In September of 2018, the CFL announced that New Era Cap will be its Official Outfitter supplying all authentic on-field product to its nine teams starting in 2019.

The 2019 CFL regular season begins June 13th.
