Thunder’s latest City Edition uniform focuses on State of Oklahoma

On Monday, the Oklahoma City Thunder released their 2020-21 City Edition uniform which was designed to be a tribute to the state of Oklahoma.

The primarily black uniform features “Oklahoma” stitched across the chest in a typographic style inspired by the font used on the Oklahoma flag. Also on the front of the jersey are the Thunder’s colors used in white, orange and blue diagonal stripes, which are reflective of Oklahoma City and Tulsa’s skyline architecture. Above the jock tag is the word “Unite”.

On the shorts is an Oklahoma state outline on the front of the waistband. The striping style used on the jersey is now flipped on the shorts. On the side of the right leg is “Thunder” written at a 90-degree angle and in the same font as the jersey, while the left leg has the team’s primary logo in white.
