On Friday, the Vegas Golden Knights unveiled their brand new gold alternate jersey.
“The character and qualities of our team’s official third jersey are symbolic of our entire organization, as well as the great city of Las Vegas,” said Vegas Golden Knights Chief Marketing Officer Brian Killingsworth. “The ideation behind the jersey, which was created and came to life with the help of Adidas and support from the NHL, is bold and bright just like the community that we are all proud to call home.”
The jersey features an embossed white filigree pattern on the sleeves and the Golden Knights alternate logo on the shoulders. Players will wear white gloves and a gray helmet when wearing the alternate jersey. The crest on the front of the jersey uses a new material and construction technology which reduces the weight of the crest by up to 46 percent.
This new alternate jersey will be the first all-metallic gold jersey in the history of the NHL. It will also be the first metallic iteration of the Adidas ADIZERO authentic jersey.
