Late Wednesday night, the Detroit Pistons unveiled their “Motor City” City Edition uniform for the 2019-20 season.Â
This season’s design is very similar to the 2018-19 black and gray “Motor City” uniform, but with one very noticeable change. The 2019-20 version is red with blue accents as a nod to bold muscle car coloring. Like the previous edition, the new uniform feature “Motor City” across the front and “highway-like striping” with a carbon fiber texture.
Detroit will wear the uniform 17 times during the regular season and will make its debut on Nov. 29 at home against the Charlotte Hornets. This will be the Pistons’ first red alternate uniform since the 2006-07 season.Â
