On Friday afternoon, the Phoenix Suns unveiled their new Orange Statement Edition uniform. The bright orange uniform features the sunburst logo on the front of the jersey, white lettering and purple trim.
According to the team’s press release, the new uniform was inspired by the team’s nickname for the home of the Suns, “Planet Orange”. The alternate uniform also pays homage to the Suns’ “Seven Seconds or Less” era which featured the first Suns team to wear orange uniforms. This will be the first uniform in the Suns’ history to feature no wordmark on the front of the jersey.
The Statement Edition uniform will be worn on every Friday during the regular season (except Dec. 27 at Golden State).
