The Washington Huskies unveiled their new adidas basketball uniforms on Friday afternoon. After 20 years with Nike, UW made the switch to adidas over the summer, which means new uniforms for just about all of their sports programs.
The most notable changes to the men’s new basketball uniforms include:
- The white uniform now has “Huskies” across the front instead of “Washington”
- The “W” logo replaced “Washington” on the front of the black uniform
- All three uniforms feature serifed block numbers outlined in gold and players’ last names are also in gold on the back
- There is no longer a gold uniform
The UW’s football team unveiled its new uniforms in July.
