On Friday, the Villanova Wildcats unveiled their new white basketball uniform for the team’s 100th season.
The white uniform features a fairly traditional look with subtle pinstripes and a navy “VILLANOVA” wordmark and numbers. Both the wordmark and numbers have a light blue drop shadow. The block V logo will remain on the shorts while the wildcat head logo will be placed on the front of the waistband.
Villanova’s new uniform also features a gold tab on the back collar, similar to the NBA, signifying Villanova’s two national championships while wearing Nike. The Wildcats will be one of nine men’s programs with the gold tab. Nike teams to reach the Final Four, but not win the championship, will have a silver tab.
