This afternoon, the South Florida Bulls unveiled their new uniforms on adidas’ latest template. The WVN A1 template is adidas’ lightest game weight uniform. USF will be the only team wearing the WVN A1 template this season.
According to USF/adidas, the template’s technology provides an elevated range of motion, compression fit and superior ventilation through four-way stretch woven fabric with stretch mesh paneling.
“We are very excited that in the second year of our partnership with adidas our football team will be the only one in the country wearing their lightest weight uniforms,” USF Vice President of Athletics Michael Kelly said. “We look forward to the Bulls looking great and feeling great in the new lightweight, breathable material.”
The Bulls’ new uniforms feature a gold horn on each shoulder in a metallic Framis material developed in Israel. The reflective metallic gold material also highlights numbers and lettering on the uniforms.
USF started an 8-year deal with adidas in July of 2018, but was forced to wear the outdated Techfit Primeknit template for the 2018 season.
