On Saturday, the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League, a collegiate summer league primarily based in the Midwest, introduced their new look as they approach the 2021 season.
The new fauxback-style logos, designed by Planet Propaganda out of Madison, feature the team’s mascot Maynard G. Mallard calling his shot over home plate, which is made of cheese. The Mallard is standing in two bodies of water representing Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. The tertiary mark continues the Wisconsin theme by using a border of sausage links.
Madison continues to use green and yellow from their previous look but has now added blue and cream to their color scheme.
