The Dallas Mavericks officially unveiled their new Nike City Edition uniform for the 2020-21 season on Tuesday.
Dubbed the “Legacy Is Everything” uniform, the new threads honor the legend of the Pegasus, which has been an iconic symbol for the City of Dallas. To invoke the “power of the Pegasus”, shades of gold and silver are used to pay homage to the Mavericks 2011 NBA Championship.
Above the jock tag is the phrase “Legacy Is Everything” with a Dallas skyline above that. The Mavericks 40th anniversary logo appears on the front of the waistband.
Also announced is that the Mavericks will take the court in the fan-favorite, green throwback uniforms for select games this season to celebrate the team’s 40th anniversary. Hardwood Classic uniforms are only available for teams every five years (in major anniversary years).
