On Saturday, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s and women’s basketball programs each unveiled their uniforms for the 2020-21 season. Both programs will have home whites, road gold and alternate navy blue uniforms.
The Yellow Jackets’ white uniform features a stacked “Georgia Tech” wordmark on the chest in navy blue and gold numbers outlined in navy. The women’s white threads are trimmed with gold, while the men’s uniform is fairly basic with minimal trim on the shorts.
With the gold uniform, they’re some more noticeable differences. The men’s jersey simply reads “TECH” on the chest, while the women’s jersey included the full “GEORGIA TECH” wordmark. Like the white threads, the women’s gold uniform uses more trim, but uses white trim, instead of gold. Both programs use navy wordmarks and white numbers outlined in navy.
Lastly, the navy alternate uniform features the Yellow Jackets’ iconic GT logo in gold and white on the chest and the ‘Buzz’ logo on the shorts. With minimal gold trim, both uniform team’s jerseys use gold numbers outlined in white.
Both programs will open their seasons on Nov. 25 at home against crosstown rival Georgia State.
