On Sunday, the Boston Bruins unveiled their new third jersey for the 2019-20 season.
The Bruins will debut the new look on Black Friday (November 29). The new jersey will be their latest alternate since adopting its 2016 Winter Classic jersey as a season-long addition in 2016-17.
Boston’s new alternate sweater pays homage to the team’s history in the late 1940s and early 1950s when the Bruins wore a gold, varsity block-B the front of their jersey. The black jersey features a gold and white stripe around the elbow and the bottom of the jersey. To match the Bruins’ current primary look, the collar and lettering are gold.
The Bruins will wear the new jersey 11 times throughout the regular season.
