On Thursday, the Edmonton Oilers unveiled their new alternate uniform for the 2019-20 season. Inspired by “highlighting hockey culture and amplifying street style”, the ADIZERO uniform takes an entirely new approach to the Oilers’ classic uniforms.
The Oilers’ new uniform uses a minimalistic look by omitting white from the uniform, a first in Oilers history. The predominantly navy blue jersey features minimal striping and a two-tone logo on the chest. Also, the numbers are 15% larger and are rendered in glossy twill and embroidery.
The new uniform will be worn on Friday night home games during the season.
