The Illinois Fighting Illini unveiled their new white basketball uniform on Wednesday.
The new uniform no longer features the two-tone “Illinois” wordmark on the chest, instead, the wordmark is now all orange. The name on the back and numbers have also switched to orange from blue.
An updated stripe from the armpit to the bottom of the shorts now features a wider orange band in the blue-orange-blue stripe. Illinois’ block “I” logo was moved to the rear side of the stripe on both sides of the shorts instead of the center of the stripe.
Also, the updated uniform now had a silver tab on the back collar signifying their Final Four run in a Nike uniform. National championship-winning teams wearing Nike uniforms will have a gold tab.
