On Tuesday, the Carolina Hurricanes unveiled their new road white uniforms. Their primary uniforms (home, road, and alternate) now all have different design styles and logos on the front. Making them the first NHL team to feature a completely different logo across the front of the jersey.
The new uniform features their “Canes” wordmark, which was introduced last season, on the front of the jersey.
Some additional new elements on their uniform include:
- White helmets now have a 3-D raised decal of an alternate version of the Canes’ primary logo
- The collar features a sublimated warning flag pattern on the inside back collar, which is also on the home and alternate jerseys
- On both shoulders is the Canes’ secondary logo
- Warning flags have been re-introduced on the waistline with the sublimated pattern
- Stripes on the sleeves and socks feature a black-red-black pattern, similar to the waistline
