Uniform Authority has been chosen to take over the Twitter account “Uniform Madness” (previously @UniformMadness_; now @Uni_Madness).
Uniform Madness (UM or UniMadness) is an account that runs uniform redesign tournaments by graphic designers of various experience. UM was created by Dylan Nowak in March of 2019.
UM’s first contest was an NHL uniform redesign tournament featuring 32 designers each assigned a team. Voting was anonymous so no one would have an unfair advantage. This tournament was hosted on Icethetics.
To Dylan:
As we’ve mentioned in our emails, thank you again for choosing us to take over Uniform Madness. We hope we can continue Uniform Madness just as well as you did. We’ll try our best to showcase great sports concepts and keep Uniform Madness growing.
To current Uniform Madness participants and/or followers:
We know that Dylan did a great job organizing the first tournament and many of you followed along because of him. Hopefully, we can continue Uniform Madness as well as Dylan did and even add a few things. We’re not going to overhaul Uniform Madness. We’re just going to add a few tweaks here and there, but keep the basic idea of Uniform Madness the same.
Somethings we’ve changed or plan on doing, and some other information:
- We will switch up hosting tournaments here on Uniform Authority and on other websites (to be determined).
- As mentioned above, the Twitter handle has changed from @UniformMadness_ to @Uni_Madness for consistency purposes.
- We’ve added an Instagram account and Facebook page to reach a larger audience.
- We will have more than just uniform tournaments (logos, courts, etc.).
- We know that a few of you have reached out to Dylan about helping with future contests. Dylan will be sending us your information so we can get in contact with you.
