On New Years Day, Tennessee State University’s athletics department unveiled a refreshed identity.
“We are very excited to launch the new brand identity for TSU athletics,” said TSU’s director of athletics Dr. Mikki Allen. “This initiative was a huge step towards streamlining our branding while preserving tradition. I’m extremely pleased with our new customized marks, as they are fierce and truly complement the strength, power and history of this storied program.”
The updated identity incorporates TSU’s rich history by making modern changes to their classic Tiger logo and looks to the future by creating a brand new Tiger logo with new typography.
Tennessee State’s uniforms and apparel will feature the new marks in a phased approach over the coming months and years.
The Tigers’ new logos were created through a partnership with Nike-BSN Sports and Varsity Brand’s design division, VIP Branding.
